  • Where do I find the Zoom Meeting or Livestream Link?

    Attached to your order confirmation e-mail is a download labeled “READ ME” which contains all the information you need to get connected to the event including links to the Zoom Meeting, Livestream, Recording, Virtual Classroom and Resource Package.

  • Will the event be recorded?

    Yes! All of our events are recorded and available for 14 days after the event for you to watch at your convivence.

    Temporary Extended Access
    With so much uncertainty right now, we are extending access to the recording and resources for all events until the end of March. Normally you would have access for 14 days after the event date. 

    This means when you purchase a ticket for an event you will have access to the event recording and virtual classroom until March 31st. This also includes any other events you have already attended this school year as well as any new purchases you make from the event archive.

    How do I access the recording?
    You can access the recording the same way that you would have accessed the Event Livestream. Information on how to access the Event Recording can be found in the Information Package attached to your Order Confirmation email or in the Downloads section on the My Account page.

  • Can I participate with remote students?

    If you have remote or self-isolating students, you can participate in the event in a few different ways:

    1. Host Your Own Meeting:  we recommend hosting your own Zoom/Teams/Google Meets session and screen sharing the Zoom Meeting or Livestream.

    2. Watch the Livestream: The easiest way for remote students to enjoy the event is through the YouTube Livestream. Simply provide your students with the link to the Virtual Classroom and they will be able to connect to the Livestream from that page.

    3. Join the Zoom Meeting: Remote students may also join the Zoom Meeting individually provided you have reserved spots for all devices and have reviewed appropriate Zoom Meeting etiquette. Zoom Meeting Link & Password can be found in the Information Package attached to your Ticket Order Confirmation email.

  • What is your Refund Policy for event tickets?

    All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. In order to keep our costs low and our programs affordable, we do not have the administrative power to issue refunds for events. However, we know that sometimes plans change.

    All tickets provide access to the Event Recording. If you are no longer able to attend the live event, you can enjoy the event through the Livestream Recording. All tickets gives you access to the Livestream Recording for 7 days after the event.

    Tickets can be transferred to a colleague or friend. If you can no longer attend the live event and will not be participating through the recording, you can transfer your ticket to someone else. Simply forward the event reminder email to the new attendee and cc admin@joyfullearning.net so that we have accurate records of event attendees.

  • How many tickets do I need to reserve?

    Reserve ONE ticket per family or classroom.

    You can choose to join the Zoom Meeting, attend via the YouTube Livestream, or watch the Event Recording at a time that works best for you in the 7 days following the event. Once you select your Ticket type, the Attendee Information Form will ask you how many students will be in attendance at the event.

    For Zoom Meeting tickets, you will be asked to indicate how many DEVICES will be connecting to the Zoom Meeting. It is very important that this number is accurate. It is also important that you only share the Zoom Meeting Link with registered participants. Zoom Meetings have capacity limits and we want to make sure that everyone who registered to join the Zoom Meeting is able to.

    If you are reserving tickets on behalf of another teacher or parent, please be sure to include their name and e-mail address on the Attendee Information Form so that they receive important event information and reminder emails.

  • How do I access the recording?

    You can access the Livestream Recording within 14 days of the event through the Watch Livestream button on the Student Event Page and Virtual Classroom. Information on how to access the Virtual Classroom and Event Page can be found in the Information Package attached to your Order Confirmation email or in the Downloads section on the My Account page.

  • Help! I can't complete my ticket purchase!

    Sorry to hear you're having trouble getting registered. We have found that following these steps to completely reset your cart and beginning the registration process over again tends to be successful for most people. 

    1. Go to your cart: joyfullearning.net/cart
    2. Empty your cart completely by clicking the light gray X to the left of the product image. 
    3. Once your cart is completely empty, start the registration process again. 

    If you've tried all these steps and still can't complete your order, please contact us.

  • What is the difference between the tickets?

    Rooted in the principles of equity and fairness, our new pricing model is designed to make our services financially accessible to everyone regardless of their socioeconomic status.  We want everyone to have equal access to our events and resources. For us, equal access does not mean everyone pays the same price. 

    For most our events, there will be 3 ticket pricing options. All of the ticket options will provide you with access to the exact same experience and resources. You are invited to choose a rate that is possible for you. The rates will vary based on the associated costs however they will all follow the same structure. You are invited to choose a rate that is possible for you. 

    Accessible Rate
    The accessible rate is below the cost of providing the service and is open to all - with the belief that access to education should not be restricted by access to financial resources.

    Sustainable Rate
    The sustainable rate covers the cost of providing the service in a way that is sustainable for Joyful Learning and adequately compensates our guest presenters for sharing their time, talents, and knowledge with us.

    Equitable Rate
    The equitable rate is above the cost of providing the service and is for those who have access to greater financial resources. This rate helps to ensure financial accessibility for all and allows us grow and improve our program offerings.

    What are Limited Access Tickets?
    For some events we will be able to continue offering free Limited Access Tickets for those who cannot afford the Accessible Ticket rate. Limited Access Tickets will provide you with access to the Event Livestream and Recording but NOT the Zoom Meeting.

    The hope is that this will provide opportunity for those with limited financial resources while cutting down on the number of people no-showing for the Zoom Meeting. Unfortunately, we cannot offer free tickets for all events due to the contracts we have with our presenters and the costs associated with running our programs.
