African Savanna Tour | Toronto Zoo | Virtual Field Trip

Come with us on a virtual adventure to the Toronto Zoo, where we’ll meet the animals of the African Savanna.

We’ll be guided by an animal expert at the Zoo, where we’ll see and learn about fascinating animals like the Masai Giraffe, African Lion, Cheetah, White Rhino and more!

This Virtual Field Trip includes a tour of the African Savanna at the Toronto Zoo, a question and answer period with the Zoo’s animal expert, and valuable resources to continue the learning after our trip!

WHAT TO EXPECT

• Whether your students are learning at school or at home, you are welcome to join us!  Purchase one ticket for your entire class or family. You may share the Zoom or Livestream Link with your remote students or host your own meeting and screen share the event.
• Learners of all ages are welcome. Content is designed for kids in Kindergarten through Grade 4.
• Take a break as your students get restless. You can complete the event later via the YouTube Livestream. Zoom Meeting Tickets also include Livestream access.
• Continue learning after the event with our Virtual Classroom and other learning resources. We’ll spend a few minutes at the end of the event with a student focused tour of what you can do. Our learning resources are designed especially for teachers and homeschool families, who would like to dig deeper into the content and themes. Information about the learning resources will also be posted on the event webpage.
